Please wear form fitting dance clothing, no loose fitting or baggy clothing will be permitted. Please provide proper dance footwear. No socks, boots, sandals or bare feet. While everyone in the cast will be required to rollerskate in the show, there will be no rollerskating audition. We have a rollerskating coach who will work with members of the cast during rehearsal. All skating levels welcome.
Missed appointments or late arrivals will only be accommodated as space and time allows.
Not all roles require callbacks.
Actors needed at callbacks will be notified following each audition (or by 10am the day of callbacks). Actors called back will be given additional sides to work on.
All actors will be notified of casting results following callbacks.
SHOW SUMMARY:
This Tony Award-nominated, hilarious, roller skating, musical adventure about following your dreams despite the limitations others set for you, rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends, Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired.
