The Footlight Club is pleased to announce upcoming auditions for 25 for 25 by Danny Ferro and Georgia Ladd.

Performance Dates (this is a virtual production):
May 7th, 8th & 15th, 2021
Audition Details:
We are accepting video auditions for this production. Please complete the following steps to complete your video audition:
Please email 25for25.flc@gmail.com and we will send you the audition sides you can choose from for your video audition. You only need to choose one.
Record your video audition.
An audition form will be sent along with sides once you reach out to us. Within the audition form, please also list your conflicts for the rehearsal and production period. Please be thorough. Some conflicts can be scheduled around if we know about them ahead of time.
Please be sure to submit all audition information (completed video, your audition submission form, your headshot, and your resume) in ONE email no later than March 12, 2021, at 11:59pm EST.
Other Audition Info:
Callbacks, if required, will be held on Sunday, March 14th at 2:00pm on Zoom. Details to follow if you are called back.
We may not hold callbacks, and if callbacks are held, not all roles require a callback.
Actors needed at callbacks will be notified by 2:00pm the day before callbacks.
Actors called back will be given sides to work on.
All actors will be notified of casting results following callbacks.

Producing a Play during a Pandemic
The primary concern of The Footlight Club is the health and safety of its performers, production staff, members, and friends. 25 for 25 will be an entirely virtual production. This means that all actors should expect to perform safely from the comfort of their own homes. If health and safety guidelines and performers’ willingness allow, some aspects of this production may be filmed in advance. No performer will be asked to meet in person unless they feel comfortable doing so and no casting decisions will be made based on a performers’ willingness. About Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be held via Zoom. Rehearsals will begin March 17th and run (tentatively) Sunday/Monday/Wednesday through May. Since some aspects will be pre-recorded, April 11-16 will serve as a "tech week" and rehearsals are mandatory.
SHOW SUMMARY:
On the eve of her 25th birthday, Izzy Friedman decides enough is enough: she is going to get rid of her virginity. With the help of several dating apps, Izzy attempts to find connection, love, and the meaning of adulthood as she navigates 25 blind dates for her 25 years.
THE CHARACTERS:
The Footlight Club welcomes and encourages qualified performers of all ages, races, ethnicities, abilities, genders, and body types to audition.
Izzy Mitchell: Female-identifying, twenty-four, later twenty-five. Not exactly timid, but agreeable to a fault; ill-equipped to handle her quarter-life crisis.
Sandra Marino: Female-identifying, mid-twenties. Izzy’s best friend. Self-assured and chronically bored, Sandra is a thrill-seeker stuck in a suburban world.
Judy “Pixie” Cooper: Female-identifying, mid-twenties. A remnant friendship from high school. Pixie is insecure, type A, and blissfully unaware of her privilege.
Zach Burgess: Male-identifying, twenties. One of Pixie’s “actor friends.” Forever the nice guy; big Justin Long energy.
Elaine Mitchell: Female-identifying, middle-aged. Izzy’s mother. Elaine understands that not trying to be cool is actually the coolest thing you can do. Patient and sincerely invested in Izzy’s wellbeing.
