Friday, February 21 will be Asian Joy Night, hosted by CHUANG Stage!

CHUANG Stage has partnered with The Footlight Club to offer "Pay-As-You-Are" tickets to YELLOW FACE by David Henry Hwang, where all members of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities are encouraged to gather and share in this communal experience at The Footlight Club!

Asian Joy Night is an opportunity to support efforts to break down barriers of access and entry for the AAPI community to reach theatre here in Boston. It's truly a joyful night for not only the community members in attendance but also the artists on stage. All tickets for Asian Joy Night are Pay-As-You-Are (with a minimum of $0)! Research has shown that ticket prices (around $70 on average in Boston -- so you're already getting great quality theater for a bargain at the Footlight Club) are a huge barrier of entry to many communities that are still in the budding stages of a relationship with the art of theatre. This ticketing model provides radical access and serves as a welcoming/open arms to AAPI patrons who may not have been to a show before, or who may not otherwise be able to afford it. The Pay-As-You-Are model also allows supporters of theater and the Footlight Club to pay a competitive price for their ticket and help support the organization.

On Friday, February 21 at 7PM, come for a pre-show mixer to enjoy some light appetizers from local Asian restaurants and to meet other members of the AAPI community in the Parker Room before enjoying a wonderful performance of David Henry Hwang's YELLOW FACE in the theater.

Seating is not assigned- auditorium is general seating.
